Welcome to Annapolis High School
Dear Parents, Staff, Students, and Community Members,
It is with great honor that I am writing this letter of introduction to you. My name is Aaron Mollett and I am the principal of Annapolis High School. Throughout my career, I have had many experiences as an educator that have prepared me for this tremendous opportunity. As a classroom teacher in D7, I taught in grades 4, 6, 7, and 8th. I also served as the Dean of Students for three years at O.W. Best Middle School. Most recently, I served as the Principal at O.W. Best Middle School for five years.
On a personal note, I grew up in Allen Park and went to Allen Park Public Schools. From there I attended Western Michigan University graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have middle school endorsements in Math, Science, and Physical Education. In 2003 I started at Wayne State University and graduated in 2005 with a Master's Degree in School Administration.
My son, Evan was born in 2005, I spend most of my time either coaching or attending his athletic events. Fun fact, I have a twin sister who is two minutes older than me. In addition to my twin sister, I also have a sister eleven years older than me. Between the two of them, I have three nephews and one niece.
As a school administrator, I look forward to working with each and every one of you. I know there is a LOT we can learn from each other and I cannot wait to partner with you to help our children succeed. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me regarding any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks,
Aaron Mollett
Principal
