In your letter of interest, please include:
Your name, contact information, affiliation to D7 schools, and a few sentences of why you are interested in sitting on the Student Reinstatement Committee.
1-2 appointees will be appointed at the February 5, 2025 Public Board Meeting.
PURPOSE: To determine student reinstatement with administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Committee will review recommended student reinstatement staff bring forward and determine (by vote) approval to move forward. If/when approved by the Committee, a recommendation will be placed on the Board of Education meeting agenda for Board approval.
The chairperson is responsible for presiding over meetings and providing the committee recommendation to the full Board. The chair will ensure that full committee endorsement is adhered to before reporting to the Board. (Taken from Board Policy)
