Dear Class of 2023,
I want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on completing your educational experience with Dearborn Heights District 7. You have reached a significant milestone in your life--one that you and your family deserve to take pride in.
On June 7, you, along with your classmates, will gather for a graduation ceremony. Also known as commencement, this is a celebratory event that all students and families deserve to share in a manner that is respectful to all. It is with the idea of respecting everyone that we ask that you show respect for all speakers, your fellow students, and their families throughout the entire ceremony. It’s important that every student has his or her moment to mark this important occasion. Please refrain from yelling, heckling, or otherwise disrupting our commencement speakers. Please honor this important event by exhibiting behavior that makes everyone proud!
