Music

Music is a part of the fabric of our society and Annapolis High School greatly values music education. Every human culture uses music to carry forward its ideas and ideals. Research suggests that music skills have many benefits to children. Music students learn to think creatively and to solve problems by imagining various solutions.

 

AHS has a strong music program, led by Joe Palmer and an award winning band. Students can take introductory and advanced jazz band, concert band, vocal music, and history of rock & roll.
